We look at the Pulsar’s trims and standard equipment
The all-new Pulsar is due for release this autumn and Nissan
have now announced that prices will start from £15,995 on-the-road.
The five-door hatchback offers a high level of standard
equipment and great cabin space for its occupants.
The Nissan Pulsar will be available in four trims, allowing
buyers to easily choose the model that suits their needs.
The four trims available are the Visia, the Acenta, the
n-tec and the Tekna.
The entry level Visia
Priced at £15,995, the Nissan Pulsar Visia comes equipped
with features found on higher specification rivals.
Standard equipment includes a 5” colour TFT screen, 16”
alloy wheels, 6 airbags, CD system with 4 speakers, Bluetooth/iPod
connectivity, steering wheel audio controls, body coloured mirrors and door
handles, electrically adjustable mirrors, cruise control, speed limiter, idle
start/stop, air conditioning, tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS, ESP, EBD, remote
central locking, Active Trace Control and “follow me home” lighting.
The Nissan Pulsar Acenta
Prices for the Acenta model start from £17,645 and it comes
with all the equipment the entry level offers.
It also has 2 additional speakers, Forward Emergency
Braking, auto headlights, auto wipers, auto dimming rear view mirror, i-Key,
engine starter button, dual zone climate control, front fog lamps, heated
mirrors, leather steering wheel and gear knob, rear armrest and the Acenta
interior trim.
The n-tec trim
The n-tec model adds 17” alloy wheels, privacy glass,
Nissan’s signature LED headlamps, NissanConnect 2 (an infotainment system) and
a reversing camera.
Prices for this model start at £18,995.
The top of the range Tekna model
The Tekna trim further adds to the technology available in
the n-tec including leather seats, heated front seats, Around View Monitor,
Lane Departure warning, Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection and
electric folding mirrors.
Prices for this model start from £20,345.
New engine range
The Nissan faithful also have two new engines to look
forward to; 115PS 1.2 litre DIG-T petrol and an 110PS 1.5 litre dCi. Both are
available in manual or Xtronic automatic transmission.
Early 2015 will see a 190PS 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol
join the exciting engine range.
