Silverstone Auction to offer one of Europe’s finest classic car collections

Unique ‘Stradale’ collection consists of high quality and original cars – including the 1971 Ferrari 365GTS/4 Daytona Spyder – and it will go under the hammer next month

Henry Pearman, founder and CEO of Eagle (the world’s premier Jaguar E-Type specialist), created this unique collection of road cars and it is set to go on Auction at The Salon Privé on 4th September 2014 in London.

The ‘Stradale’ collection

Considered to be one of the all-time ‘ultimate’ Ferraris, the 1971 Ferrari 365GTS/4 Daytona Spyder is the stand out model of the collection.
It is estimated between £1.75 and £2.25 million and is 1 of just 122 ever produced.
Other Ferrari models include a F50 and the iconic F40, both estimated between £600,000 and £750,000.
Also going under the hammer, is a 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 in its original yellow which is again, estimated between £600,000 and £750,000.
Estimated between £2.2 million and £2.5 million and regarded as one of the most charismatic cars of all time is the 1931 Bentley 4.5 litre Blower.
Another British manufacturer in the ‘Stradale’ collection is Aston Martin, with possibly their most famous convertible of all – the DB6 Mk 2 Volante. Only 38 were made and only 17 featured a manual gearbox; this is one of the very rare manual models estimated at £820,000 – £920,000.

The Salon Privé Sale

Paul Campbell, a sales manager speaking on behalf of Silverstone Auctions, said;
“Collectively they are undoubtedly some of the most desirable cars to come to the market in recent years and The Salon Privé Sale is the perfect venue at which to sell them.”
